This quarter, Sonata and Microsoft are accelerating innovation with AI-first strategies, intelligent ERP automation, scaled Gen AI labs, and standout co-sell wins. Sonata also partnered with Wharton WAIAI to advance responsible Agentic AI, focusing on governance, collaboration, and ethical innovation. Turning strategy into scale

With a sharp focus on Microsoft technologies, Sonata contributed meaningfully to business growth—delivering over $65 million in Azure consumption, and an overall revenue over $650 million.

Sonata had marquee Azure Cloud wins across manufacturing, Insurance, Healthcare, retail segments leading to a couple of large MACC wins in India. With our technical team aligned fully to the consumption plan signed with the customers along with MS, we are confident that this will lead to an uptake in Azure consumption.

On the execution front, Sonata continues to deliver large and complex projects with high velocity and precision:

A private insurance company backed by a global financial group engaged us to modernize their digital infrastructure.

A digital adoption solutions provider partnered with us to scale operations using data-driven cloud services.

Deployed Microsoft Sentinel across a conglomerate spanning 14 companies—including sectors like finance, healthcare, automotive, and energy—processing over 1TB of daily telemetry with full rollout completed in just four months.

Delivered email and device modernization for a financial services firm, migrating over 10,000 users to Microsoft 365, implementing stringent security hardening, and enabling enterprise device management.

To further enable Microsoft growth, Sonata conducted five executive workshops, helping accelerate cloud adoption and contributing over $1.8 million in incremental Microsoft revenue.

From launching a co-engineered AI Lab to establishing a Gen AI Center of Excellence, focused innovation fueled momentum across initiatives—earning Sonata a renewed place in Microsoft’s prestigious Inner Circle and reenforcing strategic alignment.

The top three customer wins—all major enterprise engagements—significantly contributed to this quarter’s performance:

A leading mortgage financing company in North America delivered a large-scale modernization program focused on core banking workloads and cloud migration.

A regional retail bank with nationwide presence led to a transformative implementation of Microsoft Cloud services, accelerating digital maturity across banking operations.

A global manufacturer in the packaging and materials sector spearheaded a comprehensive infrastructure and operations revamp, leveraging Azure and Microsoft 365 platforms.

These wins came through offerings like Cloud Transformation, Professional Services, and Cloud & Infrastructure Operations—bringing in over total contract value exceeding $52 million USD.

Agentic AI and copilot-driven workflows

Sonata leads Copilot and Agentic AI development, building secure, reasoning-driven agents that automate workflows across enterprise systems. These AI agents plan, act, and optimize autonomously driving scalable, intelligent operations. Backed by Gen AI Center of Excellence, we ensure governance, alignment, and sustainable innovation at scale.

Our AI core team accelerated how enterprises onboard, optimize, and operate LLMs across Microsoft’s AI ecosystem—driving faster adoption, precise benchmarking, and streamlined telemetry through deep platform expertise.

We focused on enabling customers and internal teams to:

Rapidly onboard MaaP and MaaS models into Azure AI Foundry and Studio.

Run precise LLM performance benchmarks across leading platforms—Azure AI, Vertex AI, Bedrock, and more.

Scale model inferencing and deployment through ML Ops frameworks and automation.

Gain actionable insights through platform telemetry, reporting, and Power BI dashboards.

Key wins include:

  • Tested 1000+ Hugging Face foundational models inference in Azure ML platform using deployment pipelines.
  • 100+ LLMs benchmarked for performance across 8 different model platforms, offering customers a data-backed view on speed, accuracy, and cost-efficiency.
  • 15+ models, including cutting-edge offerings like Phi-4, successfully onboarded to Azure AI Foundry.
  • Rolled out 20+ dashboards tracking over 500 metrics and 50+ KPIs, delivering deep visibility into operational telemetry and model lifecycle performance

 

Behind the scenes, this work was powered by a robust technology stack—Azure Synapse, Kusto, Python, PySpark, Docker, and Power Platform—and supported by expert teams in data engineering, AI Ops, and Power Platform development and sustenance.

The team contributed to Microsoft’s Planning & Release Management, established best practices for quality releases, and minimized future technical debt. AI Core is enabling innovation at scale, helping Microsoft and its customers achieve enterprise-grade AI solutions.

This quarter, effective collaboration within the Microsoft ecosystem drove significant cloud and AI advancements. Strategic partnerships and platform innovation helped businesses modernize and scale, delivering actionable insights and accelerating enterprise technology progress.
