Mr. Sanjay Asher is a Non-Executive Independent Director and Chairman of Sonata Software Limited. Mr. Asher is presently a Senior Partner with Crawford Bayley & Co. He has been a practising Advocate since 1991 and was admitted as a Solicitor in 1993. He is also a qualified Chartered Accountant. He has over 30 years of experience in the field of law and corporate matters. He specializes in the field of corporate law and commercial law, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions and capitals markets. Mr. Asher has authored several articles in national and international publications and also a book on Companies Act, 2013. He has also been the past member of Primary Market Advisory Committee of SEBI and Department of Disinvestment, Government of India.

Mr. Srikar Reddy is the Executive Vice Chairman and Member of the Board of Directors of Sonata Software Limited. A graduate from the Regional Engineering College (NIT, Trichy), and a Post Graduate in Management from IIM Calcutta.

Mr. Srikar has been with Sonata since 1986 and is pivotal in building Sonata as a trusted and reliable IT Solutions company. Mr. Srikar’s philosophy of driving business growth through a single-minded focus on customer and investment in people and technology, has made Sonata one of the fastest growing IT solutions company with a unique and differentiated strategy and value proposition.

In the last 11 years, between 2012 to 2022, since Mr. Srikar was the CEO of the company Sonata has seen its revenues, profits multiply many times and a market capitalization growing over 20 times, enabling the Financial and Industry analyst groups recognizing his focus to conceptualize and execute a unique growth strategy based on IP. This has helped Sonata to be a member of the group of unique Global growth companies at the World Economic Forum (WEF).

Mr. Srikar is actively involved with NASSCOM and CII, and was the Chairman of the Regional NASSCOM Council. He has been the Speaker at WEF and NASSCOM events. Mr. Srikar was conferred with the distinguished Alumni award by NITT, for his contribution to Industry/Corporate.

Sonata's growth over past 6 years is now widely recognized and Mr. Srikar has been featured recently in the list of India’s 10 most valuable CEO’s in the large enterprise category (2500 crore to 7500 crore) by ‘Business World,’ (Issue dated 18th June 2018). He has also been featured by Business Today (September 2017) as leading one of India’s fastest growing emerging (revenue between 500 to 2500 Cr) companies.

Mr. Samir Dhir is the MD and CEO and Member of the Board of Directors of Sonata Software Limited. As a business leader and technologist, Samir has a proven track record for scaling and leading large businesses and expanding into new industries and markets. He is a client-focused leader who has built and managed business in BFSI, Healthcare Life Science, Telecom, Media, and Hi-Tech industries. Before joining Sonata Software, Samir was the CEO – Global Markets and Industries of Virtusa Corporation and was responsible for developing and executing Virtusa's growth strategy and company P&L of over $1.6B across markets and industry groups worldwide. In addition, he successfully integrated ETouch and Polaris Consulting & Services' capabilities into Virtusa. Before this, as the Chief Delivery Officer, Samir led the global delivery and practices organization at Virtusa.

Samir previously worked for Wipro, managing SAP business and running the managed services practice. Before Wipro, he held key leadership positions with Avaya and Lucent Technologies in the U.K.

Samir holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Warwick Business School, U.K., and a Bachelor of Technology degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.

Viren Raheja is a Non-Executive Promoter Director of Sonata. He is a Director of several companies: Asianet Satellite Communications Pvt Ltd., Innovassynth Technologies (India) Ltd., Hathway Cable and Datacom Ltd. etc.

He holds a Bachelors degree in commerce from Mumbai University. He has passed all 3 levels leading to the CFA charter and has an MBA degree from London Business School.

Mr. S.B. Ghia is a Non-Executive Director of Sonata Software Ltd. He is a Director in Alkyl Amines Chemicals Ltd and Futura Polyesters Ltd. He is a member of Audit Committee, Nomination and Remuneration Committee and Chairman of the Stakeholders Relationship Committee and Corporate Social Responsibility Committee of Sonata Software Ltd.  He is also a Chairman of Audit Committee and member of various committee in Alkyl Amines Chemicals Ltd and Futura Polyesters Ltd.

He holds a B Sc. Degree (Chemistry) from Bombay University and holds a MBA Degree from USA.

Ms. Mona Desai is a Non-Executive Independent Director of Sonata Software Ltd. She holds a BA (Hons) degree in Psychology from Jai Hind College, Mumbai. She is an advocate and solicitor having passed the solicitors examination conducted by the Bombay Incorporated Law Society in 1995. She is a partner of the law firm M/s. A.H. Parpia & Co., Mumbai. She was a member of the Institutional Scientific & Ethics Board of Kokilaben Dhirubai Ambani Hospital & Medical Research Institute.

Mr. Surin Kapadia is a Non-Executive Independent Director of Sonata Software Ltd. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and Partner of M/s G. M. Kapadia & Co., Chartered Accountants. He is the head of the Firm’s Transaction Advisory and Valuation practices and is also an integral part of the consultancy and corporate law practices of the Firm. Surin is actively involved in rendering of high value-added professional services. He has over 25 years of experience in the field of taxation, exchange control laws, mergers and acquisitions, and valuation.

He serves as an Independent Director on the board of EIH Associated Hotels Limited, Exide Industries Limited, Exide Energy Solutions Limited, Chloride Metals Limited and Enam Asset Management Company Private Limited and is a member of the Managing Committees of The IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry, The Club - Mahabaleshwar, Tahnee Heights Cooperative Housing Society Limited and Raheja Chambers Premises Cooperative Society Limited.
